Well, this was certainly unexpected.
Alternative Press is reporting that Periphery frontman Spencer Sotelo has joined From First To Last and is currently working with the band to finish their upcoming album. The announcement was made with a video statement from the band, which included a clip of Sotelo adding vocals to one of FFTL’s biggest hits. You can view that video on AltPress.
It is unclear at this point just what From First To Last have planned with their new release, but given the fact the clip teases a classic track it’s not impossible to imagine Sotelo fronting the band on the road as well. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
I know there will be people out there who claim no one can replace Sonny Moore, but Spencer Sotelo is a beast in the vocal booth. You can hear some of his work with Periphery below.
